BODY STRUCTURE [PANEL REPLACEMENT]

FRONT PILLAR (OUTER) INSTALLATION[PANEL REPLACEMENT]

1. To prepare for installation, cut area (A) on the new front header.
2. Grind the area (A) on the new front header with a disk grinder to finish the surface.
(A)ROUGH CUT LOCATION
3. When joining and cutting the new and existing parts, trial fit the new part in position, then measure and adjust
the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.
4. Drill holes for plug welds before installing new parts.
5. After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.
6. Install the bolt locations indicated by (B).
Tightening torque
6.9—11.8 N·m {71—120 kgf·cm, 62—104 in·lbf}
7. Install the front header.
