Telephone operation

Make a call
Press
and then use the dialing keys (0-9) to dial the telephone number.
Predial a call
Enter the telephone number using the dialing keys (0-9), then press
to dial.
Answer a call
Press
or any dialing keys (0-9,
End a call
Press OFF or return the handset to the telephone base to hang up.
The screen shows the elapsed time as you talk (in hours, minutes
and seconds).
When predialing (preview numbers before dialing), press
move to the digit and then press
to delete the entire entry. Press
(a P appears).
The handset beeps if it is moved out of range while on a call.

Volume

Silence the ringer
Press OFF to temporarily silence the ringer of the handset without
disconnecting the call while the telephone is ringing. The next call rings
normal at the preset volume.

Channel

Call waiting

When you subscribe to call waiting service from your telephone service
provider, you hear an alert tone if there is an incoming call while you are on
another call.
Press
on the handset to put the current call on hold and take the
new call.
Press
at any time to switch back and forth between calls.
/VOL+ to adjust the listening volume while on a call.
