BATTERY

Before first use or if battery status indicator shows low battery power

insert a new battery. Open battery cover and insert a new battery

(take care to polarity). Close battery cover again.

Note

If instrument cannot be switched on or off battery has to be replaced.

CONNECT PROBE

Before starting operation connect probe supplied in the kit with the

socket on top of the instrument housing. Remove the protective

cover before starting operation.

ON/OFF

Switch instrument on and of with ON/OFF button.

Remove the lens protection and face the instrument the light source

in a horizontal position.

UNITS

Select the unit requested Lux or Foot-candle (Fc) with button UNITS.

Determine the measuring range with button APO.
