Replacing the power button

WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety

Procedure

NOTE: Only steps 2 and 3 need to be performed if the power button does
not have the optional fingerprint reader.

Place the fingerprint-reader board into its slot on the palm-rest assembly.

Place the power button into its slot on the palm-rest assembly.

Pressing down on the power button, replace the two screws (M1.4x1.7) that
secure the power button to the palm-rest assembly.

Adhere the power button cable to the keyboard.

Replace the screw (M1.6x1.5) that secures the fingerprint-reader board to the
palm-rest assembly.
