Step 1 Power management activated, no fault.
Ensure correct pan size and that pan is suitable for induction cooking. Note that even though pan suitability is
checked with a magnet, depending on pan base material (low ferromagnetic %) and pan base effective
Step 1
diameter (close to minimum detectable diameter), there can be pan detection problems. Ensure that good
quality pans are used.
Step 1 No Fault. Wait until glass surface over the heater cools down.
Ask user to confirm if heaters have been set to high power level for a long time (or/and the oven has been set
Step 1
to high power level). If true, normal heater performance is recovered when the hob cools down.
Step 2 Ask user to confirm that the product has been installed correctly, ensuring appropriate air gaps in cabinetry.
If the product is installed correctly check for correct operation of the fan: switch off the power to the hob and
Step 3
then switch on. The fan should start momentarily (should hear it start). If not, fault is likely to be the fan.
Step 4 Service visit required.
Engineer should check installation.
Step 5
Check for operation of the fan. If no fan operation change the fan.
If fault persists change Power board.

Step 1 Wait until induction heater cools down (the user has probably let a pan overheat).
Step 1 Ask the user to switch the power off and on (try to reset the system).
