Listing up tracks/images/video
files — List

Selecting a track/image/video file

MPEG-4
You can list up albums/folders/tracks/images/
video files, and select a desired one to play.
This function is convenient especially for the
disc in MP3/WMA/AAC/Xvid/MPEG-4 format
containing many albums/tracks, etc.

During playback, touch
The list of categories or files from the
currently played item appears.
To move to the upper level, touch
To scroll the list, move the scrollbar up and
down.
To jump pages, touch the page position bar.

Touch the desired item.
Playback starts.
Tip
When iPod is selected, the initial search function is
also available (page 26).

Selecting a file type

MPEG-4
If the disc/USB device contains multiple file
types, only the selected file type (audio/video/
photo) can be played. The playback priority
order of file type is initially set to audio, video,
then photo (e.g., if the disc contains video files
and image files, only video files are played). You
can select the file type to list up, then select the
desired file to play.

Searching for a track by
listening to track passages
— ZAPPIN™
While playing short track passages from a USB
device or an iPod in sequence, you can search for
a track you want to listen to.
This function is convenient, for example, when
searching for a track in shuffle or shuffle repeat
mode.

During audio playback, touch "ZAP."
Playback starts from a passage of the next
track.
The passage is played for the set time.
"ZAP"
The playback section of each
touched.
track in ZAPPIN mode.

Touch "ZAP" when a track you want to
listen to is played.
The track that you select returns to normal
play mode from the beginning.
To search for a track via ZAPPIN mode
again, repeat steps 1 and 2.
In the case of USB Music playback
If you enter ZAPPIN mode during USB Music
playback, the most melodic or rhythmical
sections of tracks are played.
Note
Tracks need to be analyzed by 12 TONE ANALYSIS.
Tips
• You cannot select the track passage to play.
• You can select the playback time 6sec, 15sec, 30sec
for the ZAPPIN function.
