Restart the Neutron service and OpenStack Nova service by issuing the
following commands:
# systemctl restart neutron-server.service
# systemctl restart openstack-nova-api.service

Network Node Configuration

To configure the Network node:

In the Network node, edit the following files:
For Juno, Kilo, Liberty, and Mitaka, edit the
/etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini file as follows:
[ml2]
tenant_network_types = flat, vxlan
type_drivers = vxlan
mechanism_drivers = openvswitch
[ml2_type_flat]
flat_networks = external
[ml2_type_vxlan]
...
vni_ranges = 65537:69999
For Juno and Kilo, edit the
/etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini file as follows. For
Liberty and Mitaka, edit the
/etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/openvswitch_agent.ini file as
follows:
