Before initial use

➤ Clean the pan and the rack with a standard cleaning agent.
➤ Connect the gas hose to the device: see additional sheet.
➤ Connect the device to the gas supply and check the gas pipe for leakage
using a foaming agent, e. g. with soap (see chapter "Connecting the
device to a gas cylinder" on page 12 or chapter "Connecting the device to
a gas socket" on page 12.)

Using the device

NOTE
I
 While it is operating, you will be able to hear a slight noise
caused by the gas flowing out. This is completely harmless.
 Smoke can occur when using it for the first time. This is caused
by deposits of machine oil burning and stops after approx.
10 minutes.
 The stainless steel burners turn blue from the high temperature.
This does not affect the operation or the quality of the material.
7.1 Installing the device
When selecting the location for installation, observe the following
instructions:
 Position the device in a well-ventilated spot.
Do not place it in a dip outside so as to prevent any gases from
accumulating there.
Ensure good ventilation inside according to the regulations applicable in
the country.
 The ground must be firm, level and stabile.
 The device must stand on a base that can withstand heat of up to at least
80 °C. The housing and grill cabinet become very hot when in use.
 The device must be protected from the wind.
 Never place the device near flammable materials, even when cooling
down. Keep a distance of at least 200 mm from all sides of the device and
500 mm from above.
