3-1. Service Diagnostics Program
3-1-1. Overview
The service diagnostics program tests the motherboard, CPU,
memory, optical disk drive and HDD using the PC-Doctor. It also
tests the video card using the Intel Video diagnostics program.
This program does not support the expansion cards (ENX-17 board).
The PC-Doctor and the Intel Video diagnostics program will run
automatically using the dialogs after booting.
3-1-2. Starting up the PC-Doctor
Insert the service diagnostics (CD) in the optical drive, then turn on
the main power of the personal computer.
The diagnostics program will run automatically after booting.
The service diagnostics program is not installed in the HDD. When
the service diagnostics program ends, the test contents are cleared
by turning off the power of the personal computer. When the
diagnostics program starts, the following menu appears.

Enter a choice : Time remaining XX
Press the Enter key to start the diagnostics program.
Test result
When the service diagnostics ends, the message "PASSSED" or
"FAILED" appears. When the message "FAILED" appears, press
the [F1] key to display the error log.
The item accompanied by "FAILED", is the defective item. Details
of the failure are displayed.
The item accompanied by "ERROR" is the item in which an error
that has no relation to the test, occurs. Details of the error are
displayed.
No error is found in the items that are accompanied by "PASSED".
The items accompanied by "N/A" are not tested by this diagnostics
program.

PROGRAMS FOR SERVICE

3-1-3. Starting up the Video diagnostics
Insert the Video diagnostics (CD) in the optical drive. Then turn on
the main power of the personal computer.
The diagnostics program file will be expanded and the program
will run automatically after booting.
The service diagnostics program is installed in the RAMDISK. When
the service diagnostics program ends, the test contents are cleared
by turning off the power of the personal computer.
Test result
When the service diagnostics ends with success, the message "PASS"
appears. When any error is found, the diagnostics program stops
and contents of the error are displayed.
