To improve the performance of Sony audio and video software applications, the hard disk drive on your computer has been formatted with two partitions, C and D.     Configure-to-Order (CTO) systems, may already have a second hard disk drive installed. Your system can support ATA-33, ATA-66, or ATA-100 hard disk drives. Sony recommends using an ATA-100 hard disk drive to take full advantage of your system's features.

The side panel should lie flat against the chassis, with approximately 3/8 inch of clearance between the front edge of the side panel and the front of the chassis. Press the side panel firmly against the unit and slide it forward until the panel snaps into place.
