TIGHTENING TORQUE VALUES
Unless otherwise specified in text, the fol
lowing torque values apply. All valve head
screws require torque wrench tightening!
The indicated torque values are valid for
bolts in greased condition. Replace self-retaining nuts
on reassembly.

Tighten valve head and cylinder bolts/nuts equally in the se
quence shown in Fig. 44.
Be sure to tighten all parts in cold condition only.
