TABLES

TIGHTENING TORQUE VALUES

Unless otherwise specified in text, the fol­
lowing torque values apply. All valve head
screws require torque wrench tightening!
The indicated torque values are valid for
bolts in greased condition. Replace self-retaining nuts
on reassembly.

TORQUE SEQUENCE

Tighten valve head and cylinder bolts/nuts equally in the se­
quence shown in Fig. 44.
Be sure to tighten all parts in cold condition only.
