Using Audible/Silent Quick-Set
To quickly change the alert type from audible to silent
or silent to audible, at the standby display, press and
hold
for a few seconds.
Set Alerts
appears

briefly, then the pager beeps and
Sound ON
or
Sound OFF
appears briefly. Then the standby dis-
play reappears showing the current audible (
) or si-
ON
lent (
OFF
) alert pattern symbol.
