4.3 Time & Date
This submenu allows the user to configure local settings and
format.
DATE FMT – Options are DD MM YY, MM DD YY, YY MM DD
where D stands for day, M for month, and Y for year. This
setting allows the user to set the date format that will
appear on the time and date stamp when downloading
tags if the 'TIMEDATE' option is enabled in the 'ID-CODE
FORMAT submenu. The default for this setting is DD MM YY.
DATE SEP – Options are '/ SLASH', '. DOT', and '- HYPHEN'.
This setting allows the user to set the separator used in the
date stamp (ex. 12/14/82, 5.16.84, 10-13-14).
NOTE: Some tagging programs require a specific date
separator in order to successfully download the time
stamp.
DATE – This setting displays the current date and date
separator that has been selected. The date can be
changed in this screen by using the 'READ' button to cycle
through the displayed values and the 'SCROLL UP' and
'SCROLL DOWN' buttons to adjust those values.
TIME FMT – Options are '12 HOUR' or '24 HOUR'. This setting
switches the time format between the standard 12 hour
time format(AM/PM) and the 24 hour or Military time
format.
TIME – This setting displays the current time that has been
selected. The time can be changed in this screen by using
the 'READ' button to cycle through the displayed values
and the 'SCROLL UP' and 'SCROLL DOWN' buttons to
adjust those values.
