WARNING! Always pull out the plug from

the outlet socket before cleaning,
maintenance or assembly.

Connect the cooling water

Connect the water hose to the water supply. Refer to
'Technical Data' for the lowest permitted water flow. Note
that the machine's hose nipple is fitted with a filter.
CAUTION! The water pressure and water flow is
extremely important for the chain's cooling and service
life. Inadequate cooling shortens the life of the chain.
Fitting / changing the rim

WARNING! Always wear gloves, when

working with the chain.
NOTICE! When fitting a new chain, the chain tension
has to be checked frequently until the chain is run-in.
Check the chain tension regularly. A correctly tensioned
chain ensures good cutting performance and long life.

equipments" in the "Technical data" section.
Unscrew the bar nuts and remove the cover.
Remove the centre screw and the nut washer by
locking the nut washer with the combination tool.

ASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTMENTS

Rim sprocket
Fit the rim sprocket (0,444") on the factory installed
splineway (7 splines).

Splineway Reassemble in reverse order.

Guide bar and diamond chain

Place the diamond chain on the guide bar. Begin on
the top side of the bar.

Place the chain over the rim sprocket.

Fit the guide bar and the diamond chain over the bar
bolts and align the hole in the guide bar with the chain
tensioner adjuster pin. Check that the drive links of the
chain fit correctly over the rim sprocket and that the
chain is correctly located in the groove in the bar.

Make sure that the bumpers on the drive links are
facing forward on the top edge of the bar.

Fit the cover and tightening the bar nuts easily by
hand. Tension the chain by turning the chain
tensioning screw clockwise using the combination
tool.
