INSPECTION DETAILS - J. ROAD TEST
CRUISE CONTROL*
a) Check the cruise control functions:
• ON-OFF
• SET
• CANCEL
• RESUME
b) Check that the preset speed is canceled by:
• Depressing the brake pedal
• Using cancel switch and "ON-OFF" button
For details regarding the operation of the cruise control,
refer to the Owner's Manual.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System*
c) Press the "ON-OFF" button and check that the indicator
in the instrument cluster comes on and "RADAR
READY" appears on the multi-information display.
(Vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode)
d) Press the "ON-OFF" button for 1.5 seconds or more
to check that dynamic radar cruise control changes to
conventional (fixed speed) cruise control. (Indicator in the
instrument cluster will change.)

e) Check that the vehicle-to-vehicle distance setting is
changed from "Long" to "Medium" to "Short" and then
back to "Long" by pushing the distance switch on the
steering wheel.
