ALL-WEATHER AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The Chevy II Deluxe Air Conditioning System oper-
ates in conjunction with the heater to provide condi-
tioned air for maximum passenger comfort during every
season of the year. Air flow may be directed through
the two side louvers, two ball outlets and the front
louver.
OPERATION
Pull the PULL FOR AIR COND knob fully out to turn
on the air conditioner.
Turn the TEMP-COOL knob to obtain the degree of
cooling desired; fully clockwise gives maximum cooling.
Pull the heater AIR PULL-FAN knob fully out and
rotate the knob to obtain low, medium or high speed.
After the car has cooled, position the knob approxi-
mately

CUSTOM AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
The Custom Air Conditioning System will provide
you with warm weather driving comfort.
OPERATION
• Turn the FAN knob to control the three-speed blower
as desired.
• The TEMP-COOL knob may be regulated to provide
the degree of cooling desired. Fully clockwise pro-
vides maximum cooling.
AIR CONDITIONING OPERATING TIPS
• Close all windows and vents when operating the
system except when the car interior is very hot.
• When operating the air conditioner at altitudes. over
4000 feet, reduce the cooling output slightly to avoid
evaporator freeze-up.
For operation during marginal weather, move the
PULL FOR AIR CONDITIONING knob partially out to
divide air flow between the heater and air conditioner
outlets. Adjust the heater TEMP knob and the AIR
CONDITIONER TEMP-COOL knob to provide desired
heat at floor level and cooled air at breathing level.
