Caution:
Do not insert the connector by force lest the phone or charger
connector is damaged.
When you use the phone for the first time, charge the battery for at
least eight hours.
Do not use a battery or charger that is damaged.
The battery can be charged or discharged several times, but it will
eventually wear out. If the duration of the battery is obviously shorter
than normal, it is time to buy a new battery.

Installing and Removing R-UIM Card

If your phone has an R-UIM card, follow the instructions to install or
remove the R-UIM card.
Your R-UIM stores the phone records, short messages, and other
service information. You must insert your R-UIM card before using
the phone.
Note:
Keep the R-UIM card away from electrostatic places and water.
Disconnect your phone from the charger before inserting the
R-UIM card.
Power off the phone before inserting or removing the R-UIM card
and before changing a battery.
Insert and remove the R-UIM card with care. Scratching or
bending can easily damage the R-UIM card or its contact
electrode.
