CUSTOMER AND SYSTEM TEST
ERROR MESSAGES
When an error is encountered in either the Customer Test or the
System Test, an error message is displayed. Each error message
; I has a 3-digit number associated with it and is interpreted as
follows:
YXX
Where:
Y is' the test number as it appears on MENU D. For
example: 1 = Motherboard Test.
XX is any number from 1 to 99 giving information on the type
of error encountered.
Additional information such as status, byte written, byte read, etc.,
| | may also be displayed to aid in fault isolation.
< f 100—Motherboard Tests
n The 100 series tests are the Motherboard Tests. The error
messages for this series of tests are listed below.
101 CPU Test fail.
102 Motherboard ROM checksum error.
103 Data path to LSI chip bad—the error message indicates
which LSI chip failed the test.
