6. What if there are problems? / error messages

Problem / error message
"ERR" is shown on the display.
"LO" is shown on the display and the bat-
tery symbol is flashing.
"uNsT" is shown on the display.
After the LS 50 has been charged, the dis-
play shows
not weigh any luggage.

7. Disposal

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end
of its useful life.
Dispose of the device at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of
the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Elec-
tronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.

Solution
The item of luggage being weighed exceeds
the maximum weight capacity (50 kg, 110 lb,
1763.7 oz) of the LS 50.
The battery in the LS 50 is depleted. Recharge
the battery as described in "5.1 Charging the
powerbank of the LS 50".
The item of luggage has been weighed too
soon. Before each measurement, wait until
"0. 0 0" appears on the display.
When the display shows
and you can-
5 seconds until the display switches off and
then press the unit button/TARE button. "0. 0 0"
appears on the display. You can now weigh
luggage again.
