The R option tells BASIC to run the program after loading it.
LOAD " a u t h o r . w i 1 "
loads the file
author.wi1
from the current directory on the cur-
rent drive.
Another way to load and run a program is to type:
RUN
"pathname"
RUN automatically loads and runs the program specified by
pathname.
The SAVE, LOAD, and RUN commands are discussed in more
detail in Chapter 10.
