RMDIR
Statement
RMDIR dirpath
Removes (deletes) the directory specified by
dirpath.
Dirpath
is a standard directory specification as described in
Chapter 1. If you omit the drive identifier, the directory is de-
leted from the current drive. If you omit the root directory sym-
bol
(
\
1,
the directory is deleted from the current directory.
The directory being deleted must be empty except for the
"."
and
".."
symbols. Use the MS-DOS
COPY
command to move those
files you want to save; then use KILL to remove all files from
the directory.
Examples

removes the directory
PAYABLE
from the
ACCTS
directory on
Drive A.

removes the directory
ADDRESS
from the root directory on the
current drive.
