S e l e c t i n g R i n g e r T y p e s f o r M e s s a g e s
To select a ringer type for text message:
1. From the Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s , and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight S o u n d s , and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight R i n g e r T y p e , and press MENU/OK.
5. Highlight M e s s a g i n g , and press MENU/OK.
6. Select the menu under M e s s a g i n g and press MENU/OK.
7. Highlight your desired ringer type, and press MENU/OK.
V o i c e R i n g e r : notify you with Voice for Message.

G e t N e w : start up a Browser and you can select an item to download.

A l e r t N o t i f i c a t i o n
Your phone comes with several different options to keep you aware of what's going on by
sounding the alert or ringer.
S e r v i c e s sets alert On or Off for network services parameter changes.
l
V o i c e m a i l sets alert to notify you of caller's message(s).
l
M e s s a g i n g sets alert to notify you of text message(s).
l
M i n u t e B e e p sets a minute reminder that beeps ten seconds before the end of each
l
minute during a call.
S i g n a l F a d e sets alert to notify you when your phone loses a signal during a call.

To set the alerts:
1. From the Standby mode, press MENU/OK to display the main menu.
2. Highlight S e t t i n g s , and press MENU/OK.
3. Highlight S o u n d s , and press MENU/OK.
4. Highlight A l e r t s , and press MENU/OK.
5. Highlight your desired option, and press MENU/OK.
6. If you selected S e r v i c e , M i n u t e B e e p or S i g n a l F a d e , select O n or O f f .
If you selected V o i c e m a i l or M e s s a g i n g , select O n c e , R e p e a t A l e r t or O f f .
Tip: R e p e a t A l e r t sounds every two minutes for twenty minutes and the ringer sounds
for ten seconds.
