Messages

Messages
SMS (Short Messaging Service) allow you to send text messages and manage the messages that you sent
and received.
You can also send and receive MMS (Multimedia Message Service) messages. MMS enables you to send
messages with images, sounds and texts. Consult your service provider whether this service is available.
You may need to register separately for this service.
New message
You can create a new message to be sent.
Send an SMS message
i. In standby mode, press Menu > Messages > New message > Text message.
ii. Enter the recipient(s) party‟s number. (Or Press OK Key [Phonebook] to choose the recipient(s).)
iii. Press Down Key to the text field.
iv. Edit the message and you can insert My words or Templates:
– Press Left Soft Key [Options] > My words to insert My words.
– Press OK Key to insert Templates.
v. Press Left Soft Key [Options] > Save to save your message.
vi. After finishing your SMS message, press Right Soft Key [Send] to send your message.
Send an MMS message
i. In standby mode, press Menu > Messages > New message > Multimedia message.
ii. Enter the recipient(s) party‟s number. (Or press OK Key [Phonebook] to choose the recipient(s).)
iii. Press Down Key to the title field.
iv. Enter the title of your MMS message.
v. Press Down Key to the text field.
vi. Edit your message and you can do the following operations:
– Press Left Soft Key [Options]:
– My words: Select one or more items from My words to insert to your MMS message. You can
also add, edit or delete the items.
– Add page: Add a new page to your MMS message.
– Delete page: Delete the current page of your MMS message.
– Preview: Preview the MMS message.
– Templates: Insert templates to your MMS message.
– Save: Save the MMS message to Drafts.
