Basic Operations
Navigating the Menus
The phone features, various functions and settings are in menus and submenus. To select a function from
menus:
1. Press Left Soft Key [Menu] from standby mode to open the main menu.
2. Use Navigation Keys to scroll up, down, left or right through the main menu.
For example, scroll to Settings:
1. Press Left Soft Key [Menu] in standby mode.
2. Press Up/Down Key or Left/Right Key to scroll to the menu Settings.
Notes:
You can access the menu quickly by pressing the number keys: 1 for Messages, 2 for Games, 3 for
STK, 4 for Camera, 5 for Services, 6 for Multimedia, 7 for Applications, 8 for Phonebook and 9 for
Settings.
3. Press OK Key to confirm your selection.
4. Press Left/Right Key to scroll to the desired tab, for example, Handset.
5. Press Up/Down Key to scroll to the desired option, for example, Language.
Notes:
Options are listed in the menu, you can access the option quickly by pressing the corresponding number
key.
6. Press OK Key [Select] to confirm your selection.
7. Press Up/Down Key to scroll to the desired option, for example, English.
8. Press OK Key to save your settings.
Notes:
In this user manual, the steps needed to reach a menu are shown in a condensed form, for example:
Menu > Settings > Handset > Language > English.
Making a Call
Making a Voice Call
1. Enter a phone number in standby mode.
2. Press Send Key or select Call > Voice call.
3. Press Right Soft Key [Cancel] to cancel the call.
4. Press End Key to end your call.
Making a Video Call
1. Enter a phone number in standby mode.
2. Select Call > Video call to make a video call.
3. Press Right Soft Key [Cancel] to cancel the call.
