Connect the Toshiba AC adapter 01's power plug to a 100 V AC power outlet. Insert the A1304T, with the battery pack attached, into the desktop holder as shown in the figure. Hold the desktop holder while removing the A1304T.
When retracting the antenna, hold the base of the antenna and slide it straight back into the A1304T. Holding the tip and using excessive force while retracting the antenna may result in the antenna being damaged.
Turning On the Power The standby screen appears when you turn on the power. You can operate phone, mail, and other A1304T functions from the standby screen. When you have finished an operation, press the power key to redisplay the standby screen.

Recording Messages when You Cannot Answer Calls When you cannot answer calls, the cell phone can automatically play the answering message to callers and record messages (message memos). The cell phone can record a maximum of three messages, each up to 30 seconds long.

Using C-mail The c-mail service enables you to use a phone number for exchanging messages with c-mail compatible au cell phones. The cell phone is capable of sending messages containing up to 100 single-byte characters (50 double-byte characters). A message is sent to a phone number.
