Filtering one-ring calls What is a one-ring call? This is a call you receive from an unknown party. They ring only once and leave their phone number in your Received display to make you call back to that number and connect you to a service with very high charges.

Turn j to adjust the volume, and press p (ok). "OFF": The incoming ring does not sound. "1" to "5": The incoming ring sounds at the level you set. "Step Down": The volume of the incoming ring decreases. "Step Up": The volume of the incoming ring increases.

Setting the manner mode The A1402S vibrates to notify you of incoming calls. Hold down m for at least one second in the idle display. ⇒ The manner mode is set, and appear in the display. At the same time, record message is set, and appears in the display.

You can automatically convert and send images so that they can be viewed properly on other cellphones even if the other party is not using an au cellphone. To use Photo-mail, you must change the other party's e-mail address to a Photo-mail address.
