C r i p t i o n The module HDC 480 CI AV, in the following called digital module, has a QPSK AV converter which simultaneously converts four QPSK modulated channels into AV signals. It is equipped with four common interfaces, which enable the de- scrambling of four scrambled channels when used in conjunction with four CA modules and four appropriate smart cards. The smart card contains all the information for authorisation, descrambling and subscription. – The hardware and software of the module HDC 480 CI AV have been thor- oughly prepared and tested. – Any changes made by program providers to the structures in the program data might impair or even prevent this function. -
