Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the IR27A
IconRemote. The IR27A IconRemote has the
capability to combine many types of remotes into a
single remote. This remote has many unique
features, all available through the high quality color
screen and the configurable menus. The screen
displays icons that are easy to set up to represent
your favorite channels. You can then select any
channel by simply pressing the key next to the icon
that represents the channel.
The IR27A IconRemote can also control X10 RF
devices, which allows you to control different
electrical devices located in various physical
locations around the house. This remote is capable
of many other features that are also described in this
manual.
This remote control operates the common features of
most but not all models and brands of Infrared (IR)
Controlled devices. This remote may provide
functions that are not available on your device. Some
functions of your particular device (e.g., menu
functions) may not be controlled by this remote. In
such cases, you can learn the commands from your
original remote. Please use this manual to become
familiar with your IconRemote. After you are
familiar with this owner's manual, the first thing you
need to do is to install batteries and setup your
remote following the on-screen instructions.
