Status indicators inform you when a drive is being used or when a button
has been pressed that affects how the keyboard is used.

Caps Lock
Pad Lock
Scroll Lock
Diskette drive
Hard drive
Disc drive
Caps lock
Icon Description
Caps Lock is turned on.
Pad Lock is turned on.

Scroll Lock is turned on.
The standard 1.44 MB diskette drive is in use.
The hard drive is in use.
The CD, CD-RW, DVD, or combination DVD/CD-RW drive is in
use.
