This
command
copies
source-file into the
new
file
defined
by
destination-file.
This allows
you
to
copy
a
file
from one
disk
to
another,
using a
single
drive
if
necessary.
(In
the
latter
case,
you must
include drive
specifications
in
both
file
specifications.)
For
single-drive
systems (Drive
0),
both
diskettes
must
contain
trsdos.
(i.e.,
Data
diskettes aren't
allowed
in
Drive
0.)
Examples
COPY
OLDFILE/BAS NEWFILE/BAS
Copies oldfile/bas
into a
new
file
named
newfile/bas.
trsdos
will
search
through
all
drives for
oldfile/bas,
and
will
copy
it
onto
the
first
disk
which
is
not write -protected
COPY
NAMEFILE/TXT
:1
This
command
specifies a
file
named
namefile/txt
to
another
disk.
COPY
FILE/EXT
:0
