Local Service Name
Displays the name of the local service used. The local service cannot be changed.
Remote Device Address
Used to enter the address of the remote device to which you want to connect.
If multiple Bluetooth™ devices are found by Device Search by means of Bluetooth™ PC Driver
Utility, you can select a device from among them.
To do so, select the address of the desired device from among the addresses displayed, by clicking
Bluetooth™ Passkey (PIN Code)
You can specify a password for your Bluetooth™ device to protect it from unauthorized use. If you
want to do so, type in this text box a password of up to 16 alphanumeric characters to register it. By
default, no password is set for your Bluetooth™.
The Bluetooth™ passkey specified here is the same as that shown in the window that opens when
you select the same remote device, using Bluetooth™ PC Driver Utility, and select "Properties".
(The appearances of these dialog boxes vary depending on the
situation in which the Bluetooth™ is used.)
You can use either of these dialog boxes to specify a password for your Bluetooth™.
