Open the hot-water faucet. Burner ignites automatically and hot water flows out. (For the initial running, open and close the hot-water faucet repeatedly till water heater ignites because of air residue in the gas pipe.)

We suggest that user shall turn the flowrate regulation knob to the small flowrate extent in winter and turn the flowrate regulation knob to the large flowrate extent in summer.

Do not use it outside because rainwater may penetrate into the heater housing thus to cause water heater damage. D. Countermeasures for abnormality Please immediately close the gas valve and water-in valve if following abnormalities occur during heater running.
Technical Manual for DGI 1.9 Anti-freezing attentions 1) If water accumulation is frozen in the water heater and no water flows out after water-out valve opens, please wait for natural defreezing. Carefully check leakage of water-in and water-out pipes till water flows out from the valve. Then use the water heater as per correct operation procedure if no leakage is confirmed.
Technical Manual for DGI 2.Installation 2.1 General rules for installation Only authorized installation staff and qualified personnel are allowed for installation to ensure safe, reliable and correct use. Installation must comply with regulations and rules by local gas governing authority. If water heater is installed and used with noncompliant gas, fire accident and knock combustion may occur or incomplete combustion can produce CO leading to poisoning.

Outlet of fume exhaust hose must be mounted outside. It is necessary to open the window or door for smooth ventilation inside especially when water heater and kitchen ventilator are used at the same time.

Do not change pipe structure and shape. Distance from the installation site to front fume exhaust outlet shall be kept within specified range.
