The catches on the Petsafe PPA19-16145 cat flap may not spring up when activated by the cat if the microchip is not correctly located for detection. If the cat’s head touches the clear flap before the flap unlatches, the microchip may not be positioned properly for the reader to detect it. This prevents the flap from unlocking.
