Set the timeout function on and off for the port server menu, Normal mode
(rw) sessions, and Monitoring mode (ro) sessions.
set portd tty tty_number timeout { on | off }
tty_number
Specify the tty number corresponding to the serial port in the 1 to 48
range.
The range of ports that you can specify varies depending on the model.
Specify a list of serial ports separated by hyphens "-" and commas "," to
set multiple ports in a single command.
{ on | off }
Specify "on" or "off" for the timeout function for the port server menu,
Normal mode (rw) sessions, and Monitoring mode (ro) sessions.
This parameter is "off" by default.

set portd tty 1 timeout on
(1) When you enable the timeout function, set also "set portd idle_timeout
on" and "set portd ro_timeout on".
