CHECK POINTS FOR THE LEAD SCREW

For proper operation of the Lead Screw and Ram Hoist systems, please
check the following:
1. When in the raised position, the bottom of the soundome boot must be 3.8cm (1.5 inches)
above the bottom of the seachest.
2. Leave at least 10.2cm (4 inches) between the top of the soundome and the ceiling.
3. The bottom of the seachest must be 1cm (.5 inches) above the bottom of the
4. The 4-inch and 6-inch soundomes must extend below the keel by at least 15cm (6 inches).
The 8-inch soundome must extend below the keel by at least 23cm (9 inches).
5. The top hoist clamp of the 4-inch and 6-inch soundomes must travel at least 20.3cm (8
inches). The top hoist clamp of the 8-inch soundome must travel at least 28cm (11
inches).
