CONNECTING POWER
TO THE CONSOLE
SS590 consoles come with a 3.0meter (l0 foot)
long power cable.
At one end of the cable, connect the white wire
to negative [ -), and the black wire to
[ + )
positive
on the ship's power cable,
Be sure the ship's cable is large enough to
send the needed amount of current through
the WESMAR power cable to the sonar
equipment. Use the chart below for
reference.

CONSOLE VIDEO OUTPUT
The video output of the SS590 Series is de-
signed to operate a non-interlace VGA Moni-
tor. This type of monitor provides excellent
colorin great detail. Definition is superb, with
more pixel information than other sonars.
VGA non-interlace monitors have the follow-
ing sync frequencies:
Horizontal Sync: 31.5 kHz
Vertical Sync:
The analog RGB signal is available on the
15-Pin D connector. By using the connec-
tor cable supplied, the signal can be con-
nected to the analog RGB computer moni-
tor. If your monitor was not supplied by
WESMAR, be careful in determining the
correct
wiring.
WESMAR will have the correct cable and
connector prewired.
