  • Page 3 Thank You for purchasing the COMPUTHERM GSM158. The COMPUTHERM GSM158 power socket is a remote controlled socket using a Pay as you Go contract SIM. The power supply output of the socket can be turned on or off remotely by the SMS (Short Message System) command or local controlled by its function buttons.

    Power on: 1. Turn the power switch to “On” position (see 7 on Figure 1) 2. Plug the GSM158 into AC power socket. The “Green” power light will illuminate and the “Blue” GSM light will flash for about 20 seconds before staying on constantly to confirm GSM sig- nal available.

    3.2.3 Switching on/off by calling Description: If the Master user calls GSM158, the socket output will be switched on or cut off automatically when the user hears the ring tone in the phone. The calling will be hung up automatically if the user doesn’t hang up the call.

The output status of the socket can be controlled by the environmental temperature automatically. For example: GSM158 is used for the power control of the heating apparatus.
