Thunderbolt™ 3/USB Type-C connector
1 HDMI-out connector
For connection with an LCD television, an LCD monitor, or a projector.
Note: A compatible HDMI cable is needed for the connection. The connected device must include an
HDMI-in connector.
2 USB 3.0 connector (always-on)
For connection with a USB mouse, a USB thumb drive, or devices with a USB connector. This connector
can charge connected devices even when the computer is powered off or in sleep mode. This function can
be enabled/disabled in Lenovo Settings (software).
Note: If the computer is disconnected from power in off or sleep mode, this connector stops charging
connected devices when the battery charge level drops below 20%.
3 Thunderbolt™ 3/USB Type-C connector
The Thunderbolt™ 3 uses a USB Type-C connector. It can connect to storage, display, and other devices
with the appropriate cables (not included). The Thunderbolt™ controller on your computer supports the
following standards.
• USB 3.1
• DisplayPort 1.2
