1. Press Fn + F7 to make sure airplane mode is turned off.
2. Click the wireless network connection status icon in the Windows notification area. A list of available
wireless networks is displayed.
3. Double-click a network to connect to it. Provide required information if needed.

How to start the BIOS setup utility?

(Your computer includes a Novo button) Shut down the computer, press the Novo button, select BIOS
Setup from the Novo Button Menu, and press Enter.
(Your computer does not include a Novo button) Start or re-start the computer, when the Lenovo logo is
displayed, press the F2 key.
Note: Some Lenovo computers may have Hotkey Mode set to Enabled by default. To start the BIOS setup
utility for those computers, press and hold the Fn key and press the F2 key.

How to start the Boot Menu?

When starting or restarting your computer, you may need to start the Boot Menu to change the boot device
of your computer.
If your computer includes a Novo button, shut down the computer and press the Novo button; select
Boot Menu on the Novo Button Menu.
If your computer does not include a Novo button, start the computer, when the Lenovo logo is displayed,
press the F12 key.
From the Boot Menu, you can change the boot device and press Enter. The change is one-time valid. To
make the change permanent, you need to change the boot sequence in BIOS setup utility.

Change Hotkey Mode settings

The keyboard for some Lenovo computers may include shortcuts keys that share keys with function keys
(F1 to F12). The functions of these keys are toggled by holding down the Fn key. You may change the
Hotkey Mode settings in the BIOS setup utility to change the default functions (without holding down the
Fn key) of these keys.
Step 1.
Start the BIOS setup utility.
Step 2.
Select Configuration ➙ Hotkey Mode and press Enter.
Step 3.
Change the settings to either Enabled or Disabled.
Step 4.
Save changes and exit the BIOS setup utility.
