Use retagging counter
The Use retagging counter feature enables the possibility to discriminate two identical EIC but
with different retagging counter. When this feature is off the retagging counter is not considered.

Three values are permitted: LONG/SHORT/NONE

NONE:
CIC functionality is disabled
•
SHORT
- If an electronic tag (EIC) is read and a visual number (CIC) is paired to this EIC in the
equivalence table (REQ file called 'equivalences' and located in the Equivalences
directory of the reader), then the CIC will be displayed on the reader screen. (for
further explanations on equivalences, please see Rumisoft User Manual and the
'Equivalence' paragraph of this manual)
- If the equivalence file doesn't contain any CIC linked to the EID that is being read,
then the user will be prompted to enter manually a CIC value (up to 16 characters)
from the reader.

LONG
When this feature is enabled and an electronic tag is read, the reader checks if a file called
'search.csv' is present in the Equivalences directory of its memory.
