won't hear the ringer - this is so you can avoid disturbing
people when you are in a quiet area.The illustration shows
all eight bars (the loudest setting). No bars indicates the
ringer is turned off.

You'll see the graphical indication

Note: When the ringer is set to off, there are no audible
tones to indicate incoming calls or messages.

Differential Ring

This feature enables you to set a unique ring type for up to 5
different callers.When set, if you receive a call from a num-
ber identified in Differential Ring, the tone or melody associ-
ated with that phone number rings.
To set the ring type for voice calls:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.

for Sounds.

for Differential Ring.

4. Press the corresponding digit key (1~5) to select the
desired storage location.
5. Enter the phone number of the desired party by pressing
the digit keys.
6. To store the number, press

7. Press the navigate keys to audition the list of ring tones
and melody tones. Each tone sounds as you scroll the
options.
8. When the desired tone or melody sounds, press
save the setting.
