To place an outgoing call in Lock mode:
To call an emergency or priority number, enter the num-
ber and then press

Locking the Phone
The Security menu allows you to lock the phone
manually at any time, or
automatically the next time that the phone is turned on.
This setting is convenient in that you can turn your phone
off at night, knowing that if someone unauthorized
attempts to turn it on and use it, they will not be able to
do so because the phone will power up in lock mode.
To lock the phone:
1. Press
to display the Main Menu.

for Security and enter the lock code.

4. Press the navigation keys to select an option:
OFF: The phone unlocks immediately.
NOW: The phone locks immediately and stays locked until
the lock code is entered.

time your phone is turned on and stays locked until the
lock code is entered.

Unlocking the Phone
To unlock the phone, press

Call Restriction Options
Your phone allows call restriction by three methods.You can
use any of the following options alone or in any combina-
tion:
Phone Book - restricts use and viewing of all phone book
entries. However, note that manual keypad dialing is unlim-
ited (even to numbers stored in the Phone Book).
Incoming - restricts all incoming calls.
Outgoing - restricts all outgoing calls (except to the seven
priority numbers, 999, 911, and 110 - calling to these num-
bers can never be restricted). See "Priority Numbers" on
page 77.
To set call restriction options:
