Sounds

Your phone makes many different sounds at different times.
These sounds include:
Ringer settings; see "Ringer Options" on page 50.
Alerts settings; see "Audible Alerts" on page 40.
a built in Alarm; see "Alarm" on page 47.
a differential ring feature; see "Differential Ring" on page
53.
In addition to the above "Sound" features, your phone allows
you to set the loudness that the keys beep when you press
them. Here's how to do it.

Key Beep Volume Setting

The keys on your phone beep when they are pressed.The
volume of the beeps can be easily set to one of eight levels. If
you don't want the keys to beep at all, you can turn them off.
To set the key beep volume:
1. Press

4. Repeatedly press the volume keys or
scroll keys to adjust to one of eight levels.
You'll see a graphical indication as you
change it and you will hear the actual beep and how loud it
will be.The illustration shows all eight bars (the loudest set-
ting). No bars indicates the key beeps are turned off.
5. When the desired volume level sounds, press
the setting or do nothing and your phone will automati-
cally save it.
