Oil Level Inspection
Stop engine, then wait for at least
l
10 minutes to allow the oil to settle.
The oil level is indicated by a sight
l
glass situated at the bottom of the
clutch cover on the right hand side of
the motorcycle. When the oil level is
correct, the level of oil should be
between the two lines marked on the
clutch cover to the right of the sight
glass.
NOTE:
The actual level is indicated when
the motorcycle is level and
upright, not on the side stand.
If the oil level is too low, remove the
plug situated in the upper rear side of
the clutch cover.
Add oil, a little at a time, until the oil
begins to show in the sight glass.
Then adjust to the correct level and
refit the plug.
