This set automatically executes self-diagnosis and various checks
by entering the test mode.
Note: This set automatically makes various adjustments according to the
type of disc, thereby not requiring adjustment of the set when parts
were replaced. However, be sure to execute 6-1. IC AND FLUO-
RESCENT DISPLAY TUBE CHECK, 6-2. AUTO CHECK and 6-
8. WAVEFORMS CHECK.

Setting Method of Test Mode

Turn the switch on while pressing the

Note: Wrong operation in the test mode causes a trouble, thus requiring extreme care.

The key is disabled immediately after the ma-
chine enters the TEST mode. Be sure to turn the
dial to select 59 Table Init and push
initial-ization of the table is completed, the message INITAIL OK
appears several seconds on the FL display. After this, the
CLOSE]
key is enabled and disc can be inserted and ejected.
When the command 59 Table Init is executed, the same operations
of the POWER ON to the disc chucking in the normal operations
as described below are performed. However, it presumes that the
door and the tray are closed depending on the stop status.
