SETTING THE TIME AND DATE (fig. 1)
Timepiece indications:
A. Hours
B. Minutes
C. Seconds
1. Your watch is fitted with a screw-
down crown. Use your thumb and
forefinger to apply mild pressure to
the crown, while turning it towards
you to release/unscrew it.
2. Pull out the crown to position III.
The seconds hand
(C)
will stop.
3. Turn the crown to the desired time.
Remember, the date advances at
12:00 midnight, not 12:00 noon.
4. Push the crown back to position I.
II
Pull out the crown to position
(the watch continues to run).
USING YOUR I.N.O.X. BUMPER (fig. 2)
- To attach the bumper to your watch,
start to push it from the crown side
with a slight pressure until you hear
a "click". To remove the bumper,
start from the non-crown side,
putting your middle- and forefinger
on the back of the bumper.
- Use your bumper to change the look
of your watch.
- Put the bumper on your watch
to protect the case against scratches
during outdoor activities.
Please note that the case is not
scratch-proof.
D. Date
5. Turn the crown clockwise to the
desired date (D).
6. Push the crown back into position I.
Make sure to screw down the crown
with a slight pressure while turning
the crown away from you.
Note: To avoid any damage to the
movement, do not perform the DATE
SETTING between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00
a.m. when the date mechanism is in
action.
WHAT TO CONSIDER
- This watch is made to last and is
therefore very robust. Nevertheless it is
not indestructible.
- If the watch is dropped or suddenly
stops working, the hands may become
stuck. Pull out the crown to
position III
and turn the hands manually in order
to make it run again.
- After a considerable fall, the bezel
may come off. Your watch will still
remain functional and waterproof.
Simply reattach the bezel to the case.
