4. Arrange the picture on the rear monitor. This camera is equipped with an 8x digital zoom.
With the zoom button, you able to bring objects closer to you.
„ Press the zoom button "T"  to zoom closer to the object and to enlarge the image.
„ Press the zoom button "W"  to zoom away from the object and display and display an
image with a wider viewing angle.
5. Press the shutter button and wait until the LCD display is reactivated.

8.2. Self photography with the small monitor

If you want to take a picture of yourself, you can simply use the monitor on the front. Perform the
following steps:
1. Press the LCD button to switch to the front monitor.
2. Use the front monitor as a viewfinder in order to see for yourself.
3. Press the shutter button to take your photo.

8.3. Selftimer

You can use the selftimer for self portraits or shots without a flash. Please use a tripod for this.
1. To set the selftimer, proceed as described on page 19.
2. Arrange your photo with the help of the LCD monitor.
3. Press the shutter button to take the photo.
4. When the shutter button is pressed the selftimer LED above the lens will start to blink. It will
blink faster during the last 2 seconds before recording the photo.
