Both left and right sides must be in drive mode for power chair to operate. Otherwise the Powerchair motors will spin, but the unit will not move, until both freewheel levers are engaged.

    BATTERIES & BATTERY CHARGING Batteries The Shoprider Powerchairs are designed to operate on two 12 volt/50Ah sealed lead acid aka SLA (AGM or gel-cell type) maintenance free batteries. The life of the batteries may be affected by temperature, terrain, weight of user, driving methods, and care of batteries.

    ISO9001 ISO14001 ISO13485 CERTIFIED LOCKING / UNLOCKING THE POWERCHAIR The nVSI controller can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. The locking method is via a sequence of key presses and joystick movements, as detailed below. To lock the wheelchair: While the controller is switched on, depress and hold the on/off button. After 1 second the controller will bleep.
