In-Store Experience

Special things are in store for you when you visit a B&N retail store with your nook:
You receive information on local events, unique content, special offers, and coupons.
You can read any eBook for free. Read your favorite eBook while enjoying a beverage or
food from the B&N/Starbucks cafe.
Your B&N retail store also has nooks, nook accessories, and paperback and hardback books,
magazines, and newspapers.

Welcome

When you enter a B&N retail store, your nook automatically connects to a Barnes & Noble
Wi-Fi hotspot so you can access the eBookstore. It also displays a welcome message that
alerts you to in-store content.

Storefront

In a B&N retail store:
Special In-Store Offers is added to the navigation area.
The store merchandising area is updated to include in-store offers and announcements.

Reading

You can read any eBook and most current issues of ePeriodicals in a B&N retail store free of
charge, with three additional conditions:
You can read a specific title for a maximum of one hour every 24 hours.
The system throttles the rate of content delivery to approximate a fast reading rate.
There is also a maximum amount of content that can be read in a one-hour period.
