  • Page 2 HELMETS SAVE LIVES! Always wear a properly tted helmet that complies with CPSC or CE safety standards when you ride your bicycle. Correct Fitting: Make sure your helmet covers your forehead. Incorrect Fitting: Forehead is exposed and vulnerable to serious injury.

  • Page 4 LOW TEMPERATURE WARNING Low temperature will affect the lubrication of moving parts inside the Cruze, increasing internal resistance. At the same time, in low temperatures, the discharge capacity and the capacity itself of the battery will be significantly decreased. Use caution when riding the Cruze in cold temperatures (below 40 degrees F).

    The Cruze is a personal transporter. Our technology and production processes are developed with strict testing for each Cruze. Operating the Cruze without following the contents of this manual may lead to damage to your Cruze, or bodily injury. This manual is designed to give you the information you need for the safe operation and maintenance of your new Cruze.

    OPERATING PRINCIPALS The Cruze uses a sensor that drives the motor that is located within the wheel. Before riding, the user must select Standard Mode or Acceleration Mode by pressing the Mode Button on the right side of the skateboard as shown in FEATURES/PARTS. Next, the Cruze must first be set in motion manually, then activate the motor by covering the foot pad sensor with your back foot.

    SENSOR There is one foot pad sensor on the rear of your skateboard, indicated by the dot pattern. Once the Cruze is manually set in motion, cruise control is activated when the user steps and holds their foot on the sensor.

    • Ensure the battery is fully charged before riding your skateboard. • The Cruze can be stored at full power for approximately 3 months. If not In use, it is recommended that you recharge the battery once a month to maintain battery life.

    Hover-1 is not liable for tickets or violations given to riders who do not follow local laws and regulations. • For your safety, always wear a helmet that meets CPSC or CE safety standards.
  • Page 11 • Do not ride with pets. • Before stepping on your Cruze, make sure it is placed flat on level ground, the power is on, and the Running Indicator light is green. Do not step on if the Running Indicator light is red.
  • Page 12 • Do not operate in or near puddles of water, mud, sand, stones, gravel, debris or near rough and rugged terrain. • The Cruze can be used on paved surfaces that are flat and even. If you encounter uneven pavement, please carry your Cruze over and past the obstruction.
  • Page 13 • Do not attempt any stunts or tricks with your Cruze. • Do not ride the Cruze in dark or poorly lit areas. • Do not ride the Cruze near or over potholes, cracks or uneven pavement or surfaces. • Do not operate your Cruze off-road.

    (up to 11.18 mph). RIDING MODES When the Cruze is powered on, it will be in Cruising Mode by default. Press the Mode Button to alternate between modes. A. Cruising Mode - While Cruising you will need to stop manually using your feet.

    OPERATING RANGE In ideal conditions, the Cruze can travel up to 5 miles on a fully charged battery. The following are some of the major factors that will affect the operating range of your device. • Terrain: Riding distance is highest when riding on a smooth, flat surface.

    • The Cruze can be stored at full power for approximately 3 months. If not In use, it is recommended that you recharge the battery once a month to maintain battery life.
  • Page 17 • The battery contains dangerous substances, do not open the battery, or insert anything into the battery. • Please only use the charger provided by Hover-1. • Do not attempt to charge the device if the battery has discharge or emits any substances. In that case, immediately distance yourself from the battery in case of fire or explosion.

    • Do not attempt to disassemble the device. WARNING Avoid using water or other liquids for cleaning. If water or other liquids enter the Cruze, it will cause permanent damage to the internal components. CAUTION Users who disassemble the Cruze skateboard without permission will void the warranty.

    WARRANTY This product comes with a 30 day limited replacement warranty for manufacturer’s defects. This includes defects to the motor, sensor battery, etc. This product comes with a 120 day parts and labor warranty. Shipping & handling costs are not included. The condition of this warranty and our responsibilities under this warranty are as follows: Manufacturer's warranty is non-transferable.
  • Page 21 All repairs are performed at a Hover-1 facility. Parts that have been replaced or exchanged become property of Hover-1.

  • Page 23 DESIGN Cruze is designed to be easily controlled, providing a safe stable form of travel. The Cruze only requires 2.5 hours of charging for a full charge. PERFORMANCE The Cruze is a power-assisted skateboard equipped with a 150 Watt brushless motor. It provides a convenient, smooth form of transportation allowing you to travel up to 5 miles with a max speed of 11.18 mph.
